Laser 16 is the new portable merchandise alarm system from Stacey that provides security for up to 16 products..

Wide range of Sensors

Laser 16 utilises the wide range of Laser sensors and Recoilers, that includes USB connectors for Laptops and PCs, Phono and Aerial Connectors for TVs and Hi-Fi systems, Adhesive Membrane and Mini Limpet style sensors with hi-bond adhesive pads, Eye-Loops, for items with a handle, and Sliding Eye-Loops to tether products that have open loop handles or no suitable point for attaching and adhesive.

The Laser 16 is also ideal for use with the Camera Mount, securely and neatly displaying compact cameras and camcorders.

Each sensor works in the same way – if it is removed from the product or from the Laser Alarm unit, or if the wire is cut or short-circuited the alarm will sound.

New Features

When the Laser unit is powered up the alarm is automatically alarmed. This means that products are secured from the moment the power is turned on.

Laser 16 also has up to 64 hours battery back up (under optimal conditions) with a power fail alarm and low battery warning tone. A battery isolation switch, for when the unit is in transit, is protected by an anti tamper switch that activates the alarm if it is triggered.

iButton Control

The Laser 16 alarm is controlled using an iButton key and also has the provision for a remote iButton reader to be connected. The iButton key can be programmed to also operate any of the other alarm systems in the Stacey range, meaning one iButton can control an infinite number of Stacey alarm systems.

The alarm is supplied as standard with a wall/panel mounting bracket, and also has provision for use with an external sounder.

Laser 8

An eight port version of Laser 16 – Laser 8 – is available. This has all of the features of the Laser 16 for securing up to eight products.

Laser 16 can be used with Live InfoCentre, the instore marketing and customer activity data capture unit, when securing products with Recoilers. It can also be used with all of the Stacey secure display options.
