When the Laser 16 unit is powered up the alarm is automatically armed, so that your products are protected from the moment the power is turned on.

In the event of a power failure or tamper, Laser 16 has up to 64 hours battery back-up with a power fail alarm and low battery warning tone. The Laser 16 battery itself is also fully protected by a tamper-proof switch that activates the alarm if it is triggered.

Secure any product

With Stacey’s wide range of Laser Sensors and Recoilers, Laser 16 can be used to quickly and easily secure almost any product on display. From USB connectors for Laptops and PC’s to Eye-Loops, Sliding Eye-Loops, Aerial Connectors and Adhesive Membrane and Mini-Limpet sensors with hi-bond adhesive pads - Laser 16 can be attached to almost any item to provide immediate, high performance retail security for your valuable products. Each sensor works in the same way – if the sensor is removed from the product or from the Laser Alarm unit, or if the wire is cut or short-circuited, the alarm will sound and alert you to a potential threat immediately.

The Laser 16 is also ideal for use with Stacey’s patented Camera Mount, securely and neatly displaying compact cameras and camcorders.

iButton Control

The Laser 16 alarm is operated using Stacey’s advanced iButton technology, which allows you to have full control over key access to your alarms. The iButton key can be restricted to an individual alarm unit, or programmed to also operate any of the other alarm systems in the Stacey range. Meaning you can control an infinite number of Stacey alarm systems, using just one iButton key.

In the event of lost or stolen keys, iButton readers can be reprogrammed to no longer accept the keys, so your products are always safe.

Like all Stacey systems, Laser 16 is designed to seamlessly integrate into your display. Supplied as standard with a wall/panel mounting bracket, it can be easily connected to an external iButton reader and/or external sounder, so that you can always operate your alarm conveniently.

Laser 8

For smaller displays, an eight port version of Laser 16 is available. Laser 8 has all of the advanced security features and functionality of the Laser 16, but for securing up to eight products.

Laser 16 and Laser 8 can both be used alongside the InfoCentre system for added interactivity and data capture, and are fully compatible with the Stacey range of Display Options.
